After successfully creating a dream cake for her cousin’s wedding, Lisa officially launched her business in 2004. Through quality products and outstanding customer service it didn’t take long for her designs to catch the attention of many, including brides-to-be, local celebrities and the media. Within five years, the success of Flour Confections led to the April 1, 2009 opening of a store front bakery, shop and school. Over the last 10 years, Flour Confections Inc. has grown tremendously becoming the leading cake decorating supply store in the region and continues to grow into a global supplier.
Now in 2014, a step back to beginnings …
With a tremendous sweet tooth and an exceptional eye for design, creating edible art is something Lisa knew she enjoyed and was good at for as long as she could remember. With the direction of Flour Confections Inc. turning, it was time to focus back to her beginnings and her passion. Baked & Beloved was born.
